Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll: John Corbett pitches show to The Dalai Lama and more

Posted on

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll follows former ’90s rock superstars The Heathens, who are reuniting for the first time after a major falling out some 25 years previous. Only this time the band has a new leader – a young talent with plenty of cash to burn and her sights set on fame. But with the band’s troubled history bubbling just below the surface, the road back to glory will definitely not be drama-free.

EW put series’ star John Corbett to the test – could Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll appeal to every audience? See the actor pitch the show to the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, The Dalai Lama (a big Richard Gere fan according to Corbett), and a Whitesnake groupie – all while showing off his expert crooning skills.

Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll premieres July 16 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
