Rock legend Nick Cave’s son, 15-year-old Arthur Cave, has died after a cliff fall in Ovingdean, U.K., according to local authorities.
Sussex Police confirmed his death in a statement, noting that Arthur had been found with life-threatening injuries at 6 p.m. local time on Tuesday. He died of those injuries in the hospital that night, and his death is not being treated as suspicious, according to the police.
Cave and Bick gave a statement through the Sussex Police: “Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy, loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time.”
Arthur was one of the Caves two children, and along with his brother Earl, he appeared in Cave’s 2014 biopic, 20,000 Days On Earth.
