The stars of Marvel’s Ant-Man are just as funny off-screen. Just days ahead of the film’s release (it’s due in theaters on Friday), Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, who play mentee and mentor in the bite-size superhero flick, spoke to EW and PEOPLE editorial director Jess Cagle for their Sirius XM Town Hall about their favorite films, the worst advice they ever received, and their famous and unique fans.
Rudd also joked about his newfound knowledge and deep appreciation of ants — something that’s led to pretty comical results.
“I have such a respect for ants now,” Rudd says. “I’m not even kidding around. I saw a couple of them heading out of the sink to the coffee maker the other day. I’m just like, ‘Hey, guys.’ I don’t touch em. I’m like, ‘You guys go about your business. I’m just going to help myself to this Keurig.’”
The Sirius XM Town Hall with Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, hosted by EW and PEOPLE editorial director Jess Cagle, premieres this Friday at 1 p.m. ET on Entertainment Weekly Radio Sirius XM channel 105.
