Scandal & How to Get Away with Murder stars are back on the job

It’s back-to-school day for Shonda Rhimes and the casts of How to Get Away with Murder and Scandal.

The TV mogul, whose credits also include Grey’s Anatomy and its spin-off Private Practice, tweeted an image of a hoodie emblazoned with the word “Gladiator” (Harrison would be proud) for the show’s fifth season. “It’s here,” Rhimes wrote. “Table read day for #scandal! Excited to see the family!”

A few hours later, she offered this update: “Lots of squeals and hugs going on today. Feels/sounds like back to school around here. #TGIT #scandal #HTGAWM #GreysAnatomy.”

Rhimes wasn’t the only one excited to reunite with her TV family. Plenty of Scandal and HTGAWM actors — including Kerry Washington, Jack Falahee, Guillermo Diaz, and Bellamy Young — took to social media to celebrate the first table reads for the season:
