The rapper Capo died Saturday in Chicago, his manager confirmed to People, in what police suspect was a drive-by shooting. A 13-month-old boy also died in the incident.
“He was a good kid. The streets of Chicago is something,” his manager, Renaldo Reuben Hess, told People. “He was murdered. I don’t understand what is going on with all these kids.”
Fellow rapper Chief Keef responded to the news by forming the Stop the Violence Now Foundation, which will hold a free concert in Chicago July 17 to benefit the victims’ families and raise awareness about violence in Chicago.
Keef himself will not be able to attend the concert, but will appear via hologram. Read more about Capo at People.
