July has been a banner month for famous butts — you have Instagrams of Justin Bieber and John Legend to thank for that — and to top it off, Daniel Radcliffe was recently crowned 2015’s “Rear of the Year.”
The British, fan-voted honor has been handed out for four decades (seriously), and this year Radcliffe beat out the likes of Jamie Dornan and tennis star Andy Murray for the cheeky title. (If you’re curious, this year’s female “Rear of the Year” winner is actress Kym Marsh.)
While appearing at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend promoting his new film Victor Frankenstien, Radcliffe joked to E! News that he’d been “campaigning for years” for that win, and even gave a little acceptance speech.
“Thank you to everyone who voted for me for Rear of the Year,” he said. “It’s a very prestigious honor. I promise to…get it out a lot more in the future.”
Victor Frankenstien will arrive in theaters Nov. 25. Watch Radcliffe talk about the film and being at Comic-Con in the video below.
