Comic Con 2015: Supergirl cast on getting matching tattoos

Updated

Supergirl boasts that famously recognizable “S” as part of the show’s mythology, but would the cast make it a permanent part of their bodies, too?

Melissa Benoist — yes, Kara Zor-El herself — stopped by the Entertainment Weekly Lounge at Comic-Con on Saturday, with executive producer Ali Adler and co-stars Jeremy Jordan, Chyler Leigh, Mechad Brooks, and David Harewood, where they chatted about the buzz around the upcoming series and whether or not they’d get cast tattoos.

When EW’s Lynette Rice asked about the potential group bonding body art, Benoist made a very good point: needles can’t pierce her skin, being made of steel and all that.

Watch the video above to hear if the cast is scared or excited for the show to premiere and what the fan response has been like so far.
