Byran Cranston and SuperMansion producers discuss stop-motion show at San Diego Comic Con

Posted on

From award-winning drama to Broadway, Bryan Cranston rarely chooses one similar project after the other. And his latest role is certainly another departure, as Cranston lends his voice to the stop-motion animated web series SuperMansion, coming to Crackle this fall.

Cranston, along with SuperMansion‘s producers Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells, stopped by the EW Comic-Con lounge to discuss what sets their new series apart from other superhero-filled fare with EW’s Anthony Breznican. Cranston voices Titanium Rex, the leader of “The League of Freedom,” who has to find a way to stay relevant alongside the younger heroes and citizens of the world.

Their answer? Well, watch the video above as the creators and Cranston (who is also on board as a producer) talk about how, despite how deriative some of the heroes’ backstories may seem, the show is aiming to take the extraordinary and make it mundane and, hopefully, hilarious along the way.

SuperMansion will stream on Crackle this fall.
