Johnny Depp brings Jack Sparrow to Australia children's hospital

Johnny Depp took a brief hiatus from his Pirates of the Caribbean swashbuckling to put smiles on the faces of sick children in Australia.

The actor showed up at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane in full Jack Sparrow regalia, snapping photos with patients and even appearing on a TV show produced for and by hospitalized children.

 

Depp and co-star Stephen Graham (who plays Scrum) flew in by helicopter from Australia’s Gold Cost, where they’re filming the fifth Pirates installment, Dead Men Tell No Tales, and spent more than three hours with the young patients and their families, according to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
