Ed Sullivan Theater gets temporary marquee in preparation for Stephen Colbert

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert doesn’t begin until September, but renovations are underway at New York’s Ed Sullivan Theater. The famed studio, which was home to David Letterman’s Late Show, has a temporary marquee up at the moment, alerting passersby that Angelo’s Pizza is still open during the rebuilding process. The pizzeria even has a pretty good celebrity endorsement.

After Letterman signed off from behind the Late Show desk back in May, the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee was dismantled.
