Neil Gaiman's Sandman chess set now available

DC/Amazon

You don’t have to be a die-hard collector to get excited about this news: a chess set based on Neil Gaiman’s popular Sandman universe is finally available. Designed by Kevin Nowlan and crafted by Harding, an illustrator and scuptor for DC, the limited set based on the award-winning Vertigo comic series features 32 chess pieces including The Sandman, Death and Destiny, along with other members of The Endless.

Harding posted the news on his Twitter page, which Gaiman excitedly shared with his own followers.

If you don’t have to travel to a realm in order to afford the set, you can pick it up at Amazon for just under $300 — a small price to pay for being able to put Morpheus in your living room.
