EA has offered an extended look at what fans can expect from the Quick Rounds gameplay mode in Rory McIlroy PGA Tour when it releases in July. Allowing players to play through four rounds of the tournament featured in the span of one round, Quick Rounds tasks players with only competing on the most important holes.
The video above uses the Arnold Palmer Invitational to show off the feature, which is played on one of eight real-world golf courses featured in the game. As Polygon‘s Samit Sarkar noted, this number is less than half the number of courses that came in many previous installments of PGA Tour. The last game in the series featured 20 courses, though EA has promised “free content updates” following launch.
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, the first to feature McIlroy in the title after Tiger Woods’ name had been used in the title since the 1999 edition, will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 14.
