Rihanna owned the BET Awards without even performing. Aside from that whole duct tape thing, her best moment came in the show’s final hour, before she came on stage to introduce the trailer for the “Bitch Better Have My Money” music video.

Cameras caught Rihanna throwing a wad of cash at BET President of Programming Stephen Hill, and the Internet erupted, conjuring conspiracy theories. What did Stephen Hill to do Riri?

But, after the show ended, Rihanna posted photos of Hill to Instagram, and Hill joked that they “kissed and made up.” BET also told Billboard the whole bit was staged. Moral of the story stays the same, though: Don’t mess with Rihanna.
