Magic Mike XXL clip: It's showtime, not bro-time

Warner Bros.

Magic Mike XXL is out in theaters on July 1, but fans don’t have to wait that long to get a glimpse at their favorite male strippers. In a new clip from the film, debuting exclusively on EW and PEOPLE, the Magic Mike boys are back and dealing with… feelings?

That’s right: In the sequence, Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello) is having a crisis of conscience. Only Mike himself (Channing Tatum) can save the day, giving the best non-pep talk pep talk this side of a sports movie. It all leads to a touching moment of male bonding, one that’s quickly dispatched by Jada Pinkett-Smith.

“Look, it’s not bro time, it’s showtime,” she says in the clip.

Watch below, and check back on Wednesday for a special promotion for the film, only available via PEOPLE.com and EW.com.
