Captain America: Civil War hits theaters in less than a year, but thanks to the social media, the actors involved in the film have made us feel like it’s just around the corner with Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Paul Bettany and Robert Downey Jr. all sharing photos and teases from the set. On Thursday night, Renner (who previously shared the film’s official logo) teased a photo of new production artwork, tweeting a selfie and asking “what side are you on?”
The artwork depicts a photo of Iron Man and Captain America, teasing the conflict that awaits the Avengers following the events of Age of Ultron. Along with Downey and Stan, Renner is the latest actor to playfully ask us to “pick a side,” a hashtag that looks like it could become the official tagline of the movie.
It’s too early to say which side Hawkeye will find himself on — will he stay loyal to his S.H.I.E.L.D. roots, or decide that in light of the Hydra breach, those loyalties doesn’t matter? But while we wait for the long months of filming to end, we can certainly start speculating which side of the coin our other heroes will choose. So…whose side are you on?
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.
