Muse releases 'The Handler,' fifth new song from upcoming album

Forecast 2015 | The U.K. rockers are forging a new set of slinky jams that they hope to have out by summer, with the help of reclusive producer…

Muse has released a fifth song from its upcoming album Drones, which is due out next week. “The Handler”—like “Psycho,” “Mercy,” “Dead Inside,” and “Reapers” before it—is another dose of predictably high-octane glam from the British arena-rockers.

In a recent iHeartRadio interview, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy said Drones, the band’s follow-up to 2012’s The 2nd Law, is the band’s best yet. “I haven’t been able to say that for a while, but this album is our best album,” Bellamy said. “Feel free to start on this one, just don’t worry about the others.”
