Beirut is back, this time with a jubilant, horn-filled track titled “No No No.”
The Zach Condon-led band released the track Monday when they announced an album is coming soon, also titled No No No. This will be Beirut’s fourth album and their first since 2011’s The Rip Tide—and a lot happened in that four-year gap, apparently.
“For the first time in my life, I was facing extreme self doubt,” Condon said in a press release, referring to the time before he recorded this album. “I had hit rock bottom.” But after meeting a woman who helped him climb back up from the bottom, Condon went back into the studio to record No No No during a New York winter.
No No No arrives Sept. 11, and the band’s accompanying tour kicks off June 19 in Woodstock, New York. See the full list of tour dates here and listen to the new track below.
