Emma Stone explains how Bill Murray helped her on the set of Aloha

Bill Murray’s affection for his Zombieland co-star Emma Stone is no secret—it was their friendship and the promise of working together again that initially lured Murray to Cameron Crowe’s Aloha—but the actor went above and beyond for his co-star on the Hawaii set of their film.

In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Stone explained that she wasn’t feeling her best during production, due to some sleep issues and a skin condition—something Murray naturally became concerned about. But instead of bringing her skin cream or arranging massages, he would check in on her and bring her unique, mostly useless, but neverthless thoughtful gifts. “On a daily basis, he would bring me nice little presents,” said Stone. “He would go to a concert and bring me a keychain, or he would go to a store and bring me Maui onion potato chips…he just kept bringing me these little presents…a visor, some slippers. It was really sweet.”
