Nearly a year after the six-car accident that left him critically injured, Tracy Morgan will sit down with Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today for his first television interview since the crash. The live, in-studio interview will air Monday, June 1, EW has confirmed.

The 30 Rock star suffered from head trauma and a broken leg after a Walmart truck driver struck the limo that held him and four others on June 7, 2014. Morgan settled his lawsuit against Walmart Wednesday, saying in a statement, “Walmart did right by me and my family and for my associates and their families… I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably.”

Morgan will also be joined by his lawyer Benedict Morelli in Monday’s interview. Morelli appeared on Today Thursday morning as well, telling Lauer that the actor and comedian is ready to move on. “The process is never easy,” he said. “You know that Tracy was close to death, and Tracy tells me every time I see him… that he has a new lease on life, and he’s very happy to have put the litigation behind him and have closure to this tragic part of his life.”
