The final hour of Mad Men went out a high note, but couldn’t quite reach its previous viewership peaks.
The acclaimed AMC drama delivered 3.3 million viewers Sunday night (and 1.4 million adults 18-49). That makes it the third most-watched episode of all time for the series and the third biggest episode among adults 18-49. The Emmy-winning drama did manage to set a record in the 25-54 year old demo.
AMC split the final season of Mad Men across two years like the network previously did with Breaking Bad. However, the latter series spiked hugely to reach record highs in its final run, jumping to 10.3 million viewers for its series finale.
