Run the Jewels new album: El-P teases RTJ3

Run the Jewels owned 2014 with their flamethrower of a second recordRun the Jewels 2. It’s only been out for seven months, but that doesn’t mean Killer Mike and El-P are resting. The latter, the primary producer of their tracks, shared the smallest of excerpts from Run the Jewels 3 on Thursday. It’s not much, but it’s permissible to get excited:

It doesn’t take much to appease fans, but El’s trademark production, here with growling bass and good ol’ tambourines, stirs up their fervor. After sharing the snippet, he took to Twitter to update as to when we could hear the whole effort, not a mere 15 seconds:

Fingers crossed this is pessimism, and RTJ3 arrives this calendar year. More important than that, though, is that the long-awaited feline-powered Meow the Jewels is making headway:
