Watch Foo Fighters members cover Bryan Adams' 'Summer of '69'

Posted on

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and his all-covers side project, Chevy Metal, had a concert in Southern California on Saturday as a part of Conejo Valley Days, via Rolling Stone. So why not recruit two of the three guitarists from his main gig to get in on the fun? Dave Grohl and Chris Shiflett joined Hawkins and Co. to blast through a bevy of covers, but Bryan Adams’ 80s classic “Summer of ’69” stands out—especially since Ryan Adams finally succumbed and played it last month. It’s the spring of ’15 of “Summer of ’69.” Embrace it, and watch the latest installment above.
