American Crime Story: FX casts Malcolm-Jamal Warner in O.J. Simpson saga

We’ve found the driver of the white Ford Bronco. FX’s American Crime Story: The People vs. O. J. Simpson has added Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show) as A.C. Cowlings, a former football player and friend of Simpson, Variety reported WednesdayOscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. is playing Simpson.

The two were college and professional teammates over their respective playing careers, mostly in the 1970s. Nowadays, Cowlings is best known for piloting that white SUV during Simpson and the LAPD’s infamous 1994 slow-speed freeway chase.

The highly anticipated 10-episode miniseries has already added Selma Blair (Kris Jenner), David Schwimmer (Robert Kardashian), John Travolta (Robert Shapiro), Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark), Courtney B. Vance (Johnnie Cochran), Connie Britton (Faye Resnick), and Jordana Brewster (Denise Brown). The series, executive produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (American Horror Story), has begun shooting in L.A.
