Casts from Shonda Rhimes’ trifecta of hit shows—Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away With Murder—collided at the EW/People Upfronts party Monday night in New York… which meant the perfect opportunity for them to tell us which Shondaland characters they‘d like to play, if only they could.

The winner this year? Scandal‘s Cyrus Beene, played by Jeff Perry. But every show got some love: How to Get Away With Murder‘s Aja Naomi King, for example, imagined her conversation with Scandal‘s Kerry Washington if she ever got the chance to play Olivia Pope, while Grey’s Anatomy‘s Jesse Williams said he would have wanted to play Cristina Yang on his own show.

Here’s who Shondaland stars said they’d want to play on other Shondaland shows:

Scott Foley, Jake Ballard on Scandal: “Jeff Perry [who plays Scandal‘s] Cyrus Beene. I love Cyrus Beene.”

Katie Lowes, Quinn Perkins on Scandal: “Cyrus Beene. Done. I love his character. He’s like Iago from Shakespeare, I’m obsessed.”

Tony Goldwyn, Fitz Grant on Scandal: “Tonight, I’m thinking Cyrus [Beene] for some reason. That one I feel like would be fun. Tonight, I’m feeling Jeff Perry-like.”

Jeff Perry, Cyrus Beene on Scandal: “Kevin McKidd has become a wonderful friend, so maybe I’d swap with Owen from Grey’s Anatomy. I would switch with Scott [Foley], but I’d have to take my shirt off every four minutes and it wouldn’t be pretty.”

Darby Stanchfield, Abby Whelan on Scandal: “Right in this very moment, I might swap characters with Viola Davis [who plays Annalise Keating on How to Get Away With Murder]. I always sort of like how naughty she is, and she’s good at her job. I mean, you really don’t know if she’s good or bad, she’s just a really well-developed character. That being said, who wouldn’t want a crack at that character?”

Bellamy Young, Mellie Grant on Scandal: “Over the last 10 years of viewing, I would have been proud to be given any of the moments that Cristina Yang [played by Sandra Oh on Grey’s Anatomy] or Bailey [played by Chandra Wilson on Grey’s Anatomy] were given. I mean, those ladies gave them so well.”

Joshua Malina, David Rosen on Scandal: “I get the feeling that Olivia Pope is the highest paid, so I’d want to switch with Olivia. I don’t think as the Attorney General I get paid that well.”

Kelly McCreary, Dr. Maggie Pierce on Grey’s Anatomy: “You know, I usually say Mellie Grant [played by Bellamy Young on Scandal], because drunk Mellie is, like, those scenes are so amazing. She’s amazing. But I think tonight, I’m gonna go with Olivia Pope [played by Kerry Washington on Scandal]. I want to wear those clothes! I wear scrubs every day. I would love a beautiful white power suit, a beautiful coat—just for one day, and then I’ll be back in scrubs.”

Jesse Williams, Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy: “[Cristina] Yang. A really awesome character, really fearless. Badass.”

Jerrika Hinton, Dr. Stephanie Edwards on Grey’s Anatomy: “Out of Shondaland characters, I would want to swap with Liza [Weil, who plays Bonnie Winterbottom] on Murder because she gets to work with Viola [Davis] all the time, and I’m extremely jealous.”

Aja Naomi King, Michaela Pratt on How to Get Away With Murder: “Olivia Pope, no hesitation, no thought required. I would be like, ‘You wanna trade? You can be Michaela Pratt and I’ll do you? Just one episode!’ [Poses] ‘It’s handled.'”

Karla Souza, Laurel Castillo on How to Get Away With Murder: “The president of the United States [played by Goldwyn on Scandal].” [Laughs]

Alfred Enoch, Wes Gibbins on How to Get Away With Murder: “Oooh, I’d want to be Asher Millstone [played by Matt McGorry on How to Get Away With Murder] for a day. Come on. It’s more that Matt makes him look so fun, and I want to be as funny as Matt McGorry. But I’m probably not, so…”

Matt McGorry, Asher Millstone on How to Get Away With Murder: “Maybe Connor [played by Jack Falahee on Murder]? That’d be a lot of fun.”

Liza Weil, Bonnie Winterbottom on How to Get Away With Murder: “Oh man, I’m really happy where I am. [Laughs] Bonnie’s pretty tight, it’s a pretty good situation. I feel pretty psyched where I am, so I’m going to stick with Bonnie!”
