People may never be able to visit Isla Nublar, but the newly announced ARK: Survival Evolved may be the closest they’ll ever get to experiencing the thrills of Jurassic Park in person.
Reverb Games has announced ARK from Studio Wildcard on Monday, providing a look at what is labeled as live gameplay offering and the game’s open world Jurassic adventures. ARK allows players to fight and compete alongside other users on an island full of dinosaurs.
Players will be able to hunt, harvest, craft and build up different technology and shelter on an island with more than 60 dinosaurs and other animals.
ARK is currently set to launch in early 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux. The game will also support Oculus Rift VR support for those hoping to get up close and personal with a brontosaurus.
