From the moment that Archie Panjabi announced that season 6 of The Good Wife would be her last, fans have been trying to figure out how Kalinda would go. Early on in the season, when Kalinda got involved with Lemond Bishop, it seemed like death was a possibility. And when she left town to protect herself two episodes ago, it looked like that could’ve been her farewell.
However, we know that Kalinda will appear in some way, shape, or form in the season’s upcoming finale—so there’s a chance her real goodbye is yet to to seen.
With that in mind, Matt Czuchry appeared on EW Radio (SiriusXM 105) to talk about the show’s finale. When asked whether there’s a chance left open for Kalinda return in the future, he simply answered, “No.” According to Czuchry, this will be Kalinda’s last episode of The Good Wife.
Of course, that could mean any number of things: It could mean that Kalinda will die, but it could also mean that Kalinda isn’t dumb enough to return and risk her life. It could mean that Kalinda has found happiness somewhere and has no reason to return. So we still don’t know how we’ll leave, but we now know that her goodbye in this Sunday’s finale will be final.
