Todrick Hall enlists Lance Bass, RuPaul, and more for latest Disney parody

Posted on

Lance Bass and Disney go way back. Remember seeing his bleach-blond hair during Nsync’s Disney concert special in 1998?  So it’s a welcome surprise to see the singer-turned-TV personality pop up in Todrick Hall’s new Disney-themed parody “Beauty And The Beat Boots.”

In a sequence that mirrors the 1991 animated film’s famous opening, an excited Belle merrily greets her fellow townsfolk. In this case, though, they’re not French villagers—they’re entertainers and gay icons like RuPaul, Ross Matthews, YouTube sensation Kingsley, Kyla Pratt, Mean Girls star Daniel Franzese, and Drag Race alums Laganja Estranja and Jaden Dior Fierce. Check out the video below and see if this new version tops the Disney classic—as well as Hall’s previous full-length “Belle” spoof, “Beauty and the Beat.”

This is far from Hall’s only Disney parody; “Beauty and the Beat Boots” joins a long list of spoofs including Hall’s just-released mashup of ’90s Disney movies and R&B songs.
