To celebrate Earth Day, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon enlisted Russell Crowe to help sing “Balls in Your Mouth,” the protest song Fallon wrote about the 2010 BP oil spill.
“I think it’s great. I think it really gets to the heart of the matter. I think BP should come here and get on their knees right in front of you,” Crowe said, in an effort to keep up with the moment’s overload of double entendre. (The balls of the title are of the tar variety.)
Crowe’s just the latest celebrity guest Fallon has drafted to duet on the track, following Eddie Vedder, Florence Welch and Brad Paisley. Here’s hoping the Oscar-winning star (and director of The Water Diviner, which is what he was promoting with Fallon) gets 30 Odd Foot of Grunts back together to record a proper version.
