Young Thug's debut album 'Barter 6' out a day early

Posted on

Young Thug teased the release of his first major-label record Tha Carter 6 last week on Instagram, slating it for an April 17 debut. An irate Lil Wayne—whose Tha Carter 5 resides in label limbo—prompted a name change to the tongue-in-cheek Barter 6, announced Monday via IG video. And after all that, a leak was thrown Thug’s way earlier Thursday.

So now the album is on iTunes a day before its originally scheduled release. Cash Money Records patriarch Birdman appears on two tracks, while senior Atlanta rapper T.I. joins the 22-year-old Thugger Thugger on “Can’t Tell,” along with Boosie BadAzz. The money-celebrating “Check” is on here—the video deserves a view—as is the recently dropped “Halftime.” View the full track list and all features below, and stream it with Spotify.
