Grand Central Publishing, a division of Hachette, has just acquired the rights to Meredith Wild’s bestselling Hacker Series for its Forever imprint in a seven-figure deal, according to a release.

Wild self-published the first four books in the series (Hardwired, Hardpressed, Hardline, and Hard Limit). Those first four will be released as Forever ebook editions on April 7, and Forever trade paperback editions on May 12. The fifth (and final) book in the series, Hard Love, will be released in both trade paperback editions and ebook editions on Sept. 15.

The Hacker Series has already sold 1.2 million ebooks and 200,000 “print-on-demand” trade paperbacks. The books follow a young businesswoman named Erica Hathaway, who develops an “intensely powerful” relationship with charming billionaire Blake Landon.

Says Jamie Raab, President and Publisher of GCP, “We are absolutely delighted to have Meredith Wild join the GCP and Forever family. She is an incredibly savvy businesswoman who has accomplished so much on her own, and we’re thrilled to be able to expand upon her amazing success and put the Hacker series in the hands of even more readers.”
