Robert Van Winkle, better known as rapper Vanilla Ice, will not spend any time behind bars following his February arrest for the alleged robbery of an abondaned Florida home.

The 47-year-old rapper-turned-reality-star reached a plea agreement in West Palm Beach on April 2 that states Van Winkle will complete 100 hours of community service for Habitat for Humanity and pay the late homeowner’s estate between $1,100 and $1,300. If he follows through on the agreement, grand-theft charges on Van Winkle will be dropped. Prosecutors have already dropped burglary charges.

Van Winkle’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told People that the whole situation was a misunderstanding. Head over to their site to get all of the details on the case.
