Ed Sheeran's new video stars Ray Liotta as a washed-up rocker

Posted on

Millions-upon-millions-timed viewed artist Ed Sheeran debuted a new music video Monday for the YouTube Music Awards. “Bloodstream” is technically the fourth single off X, but the song playing in the video is the remix from Rudimental—who co-wrote the song along with Sheeran as well as Snow Patrol’s Johhn McDaid and Gary Lightbody. The bass-and-drums single releases March 29.

The video stars Goodfellas alum Ray Liotta and he’s brilliant in his has-been rocker rage. He’s drunk. He’s surrounded by groupies. Wait, he’s rolling around in his robe singing to the groupies. Oh no, don’t light your guitar on fire, Ray! Get off the roof! Are you on a horse…in the living room? It builds and builds until the whole house is getting smashed. Stream it below.
