This weekend’s Lollapalooza Argentina has an impressive lineup of local and international stars, but the festival’s biggest surprise came last night during Jack White’s set.
White, one of the headliners for Saturday’s lineup, was joined for a surprise performance by Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant to perform the rock group’s iconic “The Lemon Song” from Led Zeppelin II.
White performed a cover of “The Lemon Song” last year during his Bonaroo set, but the rocker was joined this time around by the song’s original singer for a rousing performance.
The two will also be on hand during Lollapalooza Brazil on March 28 and 29, which could make for another collaboration, but there’s no word yet on whether either performer will perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago later this year.
Tickets for the Chicago festival go on sale on March 24.
