Windell Middlebrooks, an actor who appeared in Body of Proof and Scrubs and was once the star of Miller High Life commercials, died Tuesday, according to the Associated Press. He was 36 years old.
Middlebrooks died in his Los Angeles home, said his manager and friend Steve Ivey. The cause of his passing has not been announced; his family asked for privacy in a released statement.
“It was Windell’s biggest wish that his final scene not be lived on social media,” his family said, via the AP.
Middlebrooks’ character in the Miller advertisements was a beer delivery man who revoked drinkers’ rights to consume the beverage for whatever reason he saw fit, such as not intently following the baseball game one was attending.
