'Once Upon a Time': Did you catch those 'Lost' Easter eggs?

Once Upon a Time has never been shy about including Lost Easter eggs—OUAT bosses Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis hail from ABC’s island mystery series after all.

There have been references to the numbers, Apollo candy bars, Geronimo Jackson, and many more. Even Emma’s last name, Swan, could be pointing to Dharma’s infamous Swan Station.

But when the ABC fairy tale drama returned from its winter hiatus, the powers that be dropped one of the biggest Easter Eggs to date as Rumple (Robert Carlyle), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) pulled through a Mr. Cluck’s Chicken Shack drive-through. For the uninitiated, Hurley (Jorge Garcia) previously worked for the fast food franchise before becoming the owner in the flash-sideways world. The OUAT bosses made sure to hammer the Lost reference home by having Daniel Dae Kim provide the voice of the drive-through worker.

Then, on Sunday night, eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted David (Josh Dallas) drinking MacCutcheon, a fictional brand featured in multiple episodes of Lost. But that’s actually not the first time it’s appeared on Once. Emma and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) shared two glasses of the Scotch whisky as early as season 1, and it’s made roughly a dozen appearances since.
