Over the span of the past couple decades, the electronic music duo Thievery Corporation has done a lot of work laying the foundation for the ongoing EDM explosion while also pushing the genre’s boundaries to cross pop, rock, world music, and a truckload of other genres. Founding member Rob Garza’s recently been concentrating on a solo career and spending some time spinning at Burning Man, among other festivals.

On March 10, he’ll release a solo EP, Palace of Mirrors, that includes four original tracks plus remixes from Nadastrom and Psychemajik. If the track “Blue Agave Fields (Deep Desert Dub)” is any indication, the record is sure to make you feel like you’re out on the playa having a deeply mystical experience.
