Tracey Ullman is returning (and bringing laughs to) her homeland.

Ullman will star in The Tracey Ullman Show, a six-part series for BBC One, in which she’ll play, according to the announcement, “a multitude of diverse and distinct characters living in, or visiting, the busy global hub that is the U.K.” Ullman, of course, had an American Tracey Ullman Show, which aired on Fox. The BBC’s Controller of Comedy Commissioning Shane Allen said in a statement: “It’s about time the Americans gave her back.”

Ullman was on the BBC in the 1980s when she starred in the sketch shows A Kick Up the Eighties and Three of a Kind. “The BBC has changed a bit since the last time I worked here, when it was all men in bow ties who had completed National Service,” Ullman said in a statement. “Now there are a lot more women. Great ones. The important things haven’t changed, though. The BBC still provides an environment that allows you the freedom to create the best shows possible.”

Ullman recently appeared in Disney’s Into the Woods
