The Month that Blink-182 Was Really Dramatic, or what others might call January, ended with Tom DeLonge claiming he was just taking a hiatus from the band to pursue other projects and Travis Barker giving some damning statements about DeLonge’s contributions to the band. But apparently he’s not too mad at DeLonge.
“As far as I’m concerned, no bad blood from me,” Barker told Alternative Nation. “I wish him the best in everything he does.” And what he thinks DeLonge should do next is quit. “I think the right thing for him to do would just man up and quit the band instead of telling people he didn’t quit and just be real with the fans.”
DeLonge has been busy though: He premiered the video for Angels & Airwaves’ “Tunnels” at the end of January and will be releasing a solo album in April. He won’t be joining Blink-182 though when they perform at Barker’s Musink Festival on March 22 (Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba will be performing in his place).
