James Bay adds some tambourine to Rihanna, Kanye West's 'FourFiveSeconds'

It was only a matter of time before acoustic crooners start taking on Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds“—and British singer James Bay, who won the Critics’ Choice Award at last week’s BRIT Awards, became the first to do it publicly with a performance on BBC Radio 1.

Bay’s version doesn’t stray far from the original, campfire-appropriate track, but his band does add in some tambourine that gives the song a nice dose of jingling.

Bay’s first full-length studio album, Chaos and the Calm, comes out March 23.
