Writer, director, producer One of the best movies about friendship ever made. Hughes took a group of high school stereotypes—the jock, the geek, the rich…

Just in case there was a chance one would ever forget about The Breakfast Club, a remastered edition is on its way.

SXSW will premiere the shiny new version of the John Hughes classic on March 17 at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas for its 30th anniversary, via Variety. Two of the five Club members, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy, will be on hand for a Q&A before the screening.

Can’t make it to South By? Never fear: Universal announced last month theaters across the country will hold special screenings on March 26 and 31, preceded by a featurette with remarks from cast members and filmmakers such as Diablo Cody and Amy Heckerling. The film will also have an anniversary Blu-ray and DVD released March 10.
