Despite the occasional unique approach, like skate‘s realistic controls, skateboarding games largely fell off the map when Tony Hawk put an actual fake skateboard in your living room.
But last year’s OlliOlli was a surprise treat that puts an emphasis on players chaining together tricks as they careen through a level. Now, the wait for the downloadable title’s sequel is only a short grind away.
Developer Roll7 announced today that OlliOlli 2 will debut next Tuesday, March 3 in North America and March 4 in Europe. The game will hit the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
The sequel is set to include five new maps for skaters to explore, with 50 new amateur and pro levels and 250 challenges to complete.
