Donald Trump fires (almost) everyone on Celebrity Apprentice

This post discusses plot details of the Celebrity Apprentice episode that aired Feb. 2.

There were seven contestants still vying for the title of Celebrity Apprentice when the night began. But after a Boardroom bloodletting in which Donald Trump fired pretty much anyone and everyone, there were only three left when all was said and done.

The first project tasked the teams with creating a photobomb campaign for Kings Hawaiian breads. For Project Manager Kenya Moore, this meant coming up with a picture of a kid in a stroller longingly reaching for Vivica Fox’s ass. Because that makes total sense! Needless to say, they lost. And then things got weird when—after a lengthy discussion about both Kenya’s and Vivica’s butts—Kenya brought up a tweet that Vivica had allegedly sent out complaining about menopause. However, then Vivica accused Kenya of stealing her phone and tweeting that out herself. So, you know, classy stuff all around. In any event, Kenya was fired.

The second task had the teams create competing jingles for the Bud Light Lime-A-Rita family of malt liquor products—which, incidentally, sounds like the most frightening family ever. The Infinity team came up with not one but two terrible jingles, one of which was Ian Ziering’s complete rip-off of “La Cucaracha.” That got Ian fired, but Trump wasn’t done, because he then proceeded to then go on and fire the entire team! Sayonara, Johnny Damon and Brandi Glanville.

That leaves our final three as Leeza Gibbons, Geraldo Rivera, and Vivica. It’s hard to imagine anyone but Leeza winning, but you never really know with Trump. My full recap will be up soon, but feel free to weigh in with your thoughts in the meantime. Were the right people fired? And whom are you loving and loathing so far?
