'Game of Thrones' video game's second episode arrives in February

Posted on

Things are about to get much colder in Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones video game, as the series’ second episode brings players all the way north in Westeros to The Wall.

Telltale Games announced today that the second episode in its Thrones series, “The Lost Lords,” will debut on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3 on Feb. 3, on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Feb. 4, and on iOS devices on Feb. 5.

The new trailer gives a peek at what’s to come in “The Lost Lords,” including a glimpse at Jon Snow (voiced by the HBO show’s Kit Harington) as he meets with Gareth Tuttle, a character players controlled in the game’s first episode. Players will also continue to interact with and influence events as they unfold at King’s Landing and Ironrath, while new playable characters are also introduced.

The series, which ties in with the plot of the HBO show, began in December with a strong first episode and will continue over the course of six total episodes released periodically throughout 2015. The game allows players to affect relationships and actions in Westeros by choosing how the playable characters respond to others and act in certain situations throughout the seven kingdoms.
