Olivia Wilde has played the role of the femme fatale before, but the actress has never looked quite so…. drop-dead gorgeous. Wilde stars in The Lazarus Effect, about a group of medical students—played by Wilde, Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger—who have discovered a way to reanimate the dead. In an act of desperation, they experiment on one of themselves. It works—but has some unexpected side effects.
The Lazarus Effect is directed by David Gelb and produced by Jason Blum, the man behind small budget horror blockbusters Paranormal Activity, Insidious and The Purge. The movie doesn’t hit theaters until Feb. 27—not quite in time for Valentine’s Day, unfortunately—but we bet the first trailer will make you jump.
