Though he never really seemed to leave them behind, Charlie Sheen is returning to his delinquent roots in an upcoming episode of The Goldbergs.
One of Charlie Sheen’s earliest (almost prescient) onscreen appearances was that of a bleary-eyed, drugged-up boy in a police station in 1986 Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Now Sheen is revisiting that anonymous role for the ’80s set comedy, EW confirmed.
People reported that Sheen’s reprisal is tied to a plot in which Barry Goldberg tries to have his own day off. Erica Goldberg, Barry’s sister, will—not unlike Ferris’ sister, played by Jennifer Grey—encounter Sheen.
