Dengue Fever gets stuck in prison in exclusive 'No Sudden Moves' video

Posted on

Dengue Fever’s jail-set new video for “No Sudden Moves” has some Orange Is the New Black vibes going on—but with (some) better outfits and less woman-on-woman violence (though a sword does make a cameo).

Children’s Hospital‘s Erinn Hayes and CSI NY‘s Anna Belknap star in the video alongside members of the Cambodian rock band, who are releasing an album in January after almost four years on hiatus.

Lead vocalist Chhom Nimol spends most of her screen-time sitting in a jail cell decorated with graffiti and photographs of dogs and is sometimes joined by a costumed man wearing face-paint and a horned hat complete with metallic streamers—a strange outfit that matches the psychedelic tone of the track.

Dengue Fever’s upcoming album, The Deepest Lake, comes out Jan. 27.
