Bill Cosby is facing another lawsuit.
The comedian is being sued for defamation by Tamara Green, who alleges that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in the 1970s while helping him find investors for a club. The defamation suit states that her reputation is being slandered by being called a liar by Cosby’s representatives, publicist David Brokaw and lawyer Walter M. Phillips Jr.
According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Massachusetts federal court, Green is suing Cosby for his responses through his reps that have “publicly claimed Green was lying or is a liar.” The lawsuit also claims that the responses from reps have caused her the “virtue of her loss of reputation, shame, mortification, hurt feeling, and/or damage to her property, business, trade, profession, and/or occupation.”
Green has been outspoken in her sexual assault claims against Cosby in previous years. Another woman, Judy Huth, filed a lawsuit against Cosby last week for a sexual assault that occurred in 1974 at the Playboy mansion, when she was 15.
