Paula Patton, Kate Beckinsale to announce Golden Globe nominees

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced the quartet of actors who will be on hand to reveal the nominees for the 72nd Golden Globes.

Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Paula Patton, and Jeremy Piven will announce the nominees this Thursday, Dec. 11 at 8:20 a.m. EST. Krause and Piven are both previous Golden Globe nominees, with Piven having won an award in 2008 for his role on Entourage.

The four actors will join HFPA president Theo Kingma, Dick Clark Productions executive producer Barry Adelman, and Miss Golden Globe Greer Grammer for the announcement. Nominees in 25 categories will be revealed in two parts. One grouping will be announced at 8:20 a.m., and a second batch of nominees will be unveiled on Today at 8:38 a.m. EST.

The Golden Globes air Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
