Reed Kelly did not go gently into that good night on last night’s Survivor: San Juan del Sur. He fought to stay alive by hatching a plot to get Jon and Jaclyn to switch sides, and he also just plain fought…verbally, that is. He got into a heated war of words after the reward challenge, calling Baylor a “brat” and then going at it with Baylor’s mom Missy, who stepped in to defend her daughter. So what happened later when he tried to apologize to Baylor? We asked the ousted Reed that very question when he called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) to discuss what went wrong, and he reveals all.
You can now hear the entire interview — including Reed’s reaction when Keith spoiled their plan at Tribal Council by revealing that there was a plan — right here on the InsideTV Podcast by clicking on the audio player below. And it is a double dose of Survivor goodness as we also welcome the other ousted contestant, Alec Christy. Was Alec really hitting on Jaclyn? Did he boss around the women as they alleged? And what is with the issue he clearly has with his brother Drew? You can hear all that and more. (The Reed and Alec interviews begin at the 36 minute mark.)
But first we get things kicked off with a double dose of amazing Walking Dead interviews. Rick Grimes himself, Andrew Lincoln, called in from London to talk all about the emotional midseason finale. Lincoln chats all about the “cruel” twist of saying goodbye to Emily Kinney’s Beth, and reveals to whom he was really saying “shut up” after killing Bob the cop.
But we don’t stop there. The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus also calls in to discuss the installment and tell us all about filming those final scenes, including the time he grabbed Kinney in a…ahem, compromising position.(The Reedus interview begins 19 minutes in.) They are both must-listen interviews for any Walking Dead fan.
