Lorde answered some 'Mockingjay' soundtrack questions on Twitter

In case you hadn’t heard, Lorde curated the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1, which is this small indie film about a girl who plays with her food and has birds for pets. And because Lorde has started releasing a few of the songs from the upcoming film, she decided it was time for a Twitter Q&A with her fans.

Here’s what we learned:

She was very hands-on with the soundtrack.

She’s well aware that a lot of the songs are “downbeat,” and there’s a reason for it.

She ripped her foot open on the set of her “Yellow Flicker Beat” music video.
